AFC 2010 Playoffs Prediction

Just like the color red that represents the AFC the 2010 AFC Playoffs will feature red hot teams. Of course everybody knows the two dominant teams to beat are the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers but just about every team in this year’s AFC Playoffs is dangerous. Here’s my AFC Playoffs prediction.

AFC 2010 Playoffs Prediction

Jets Vs Bengals

Yeah the Jets beat the Bengals in the final week of the NFL season but the Bengals weren’t trying to win in order to preserve their starts for playoff game the next week. I think it’ll be a different game in Cincinnati. I believe the Jets will play good defensive as usually but I think they’ll come up short because of the their rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez.

Bengals Vs Chargers

The Bengals will head into San Diego to face the Chargers once again this season. Although I it’ll be close in the beginning, I believe the Chargers behind their strong arm quarterback Phillip Rivers will run away with this one.

Ravens Vs Patriots

Before the injury to Wes Welker I would have put the Patriots as the sure winners in their game against the Ravens. Because of that injury I believe with tough defense and running game the Ravens will come out of Foxboro with a close victory. I don’t believe Randy Moss and Tom Brady will be enough to defeat a hungry Ravens team.

Ravens Vs Colts

The Colts will respect the fact that the Ravens made it to the second round but they won’t show it. I expect this to be a clear cut blow out. Peyton Manning and the Colts will jump out to an early lead on the Chargers and from there it’ll just get ugly.

Chargers Vs Colts

The playoff game that everybody wants to see Chargers vs Colts and it will happen. Two of the best quarterbacks in the game, playing in their prime in Peyton Manning and Phillip Rivers will face each other once again. It’ll be a fight, it’ll be exciting, but this time I think Colts will come out on top when these two teams meet in the playoffs for the third straight time. Honestly this game could go either way but my money is on the Colts.
