48 people were killed and 95 were injured badly in twin blasts in the town of Lahore. Again in less than 12 hours, Lahore, eastern city if Pakistan sees five low intensity blasts. The moon market in Iqbal town area suffered with five back to back low intensity blasts in the span of 45 minutes gaps within the distance of a few hundred meters. According to the police sources, a man riding a motor bike has made the fresh low intensity blasts by throwing hand grenades at different locations.


At Kashmir block, which is an empty place, the first of the five blasts occurred. The second one was aimed at a car parked outside a house. Almost near Edhi centre in Kashmir block exhibited the third low intensity blast of the grenade which followed by a fourth blast outside the residence of a senior police official in the area. The scene ended with a fifth blast which occurred in the Karim Block area. Apart from injured four people no casualties were exhibited in these low intensity grenade blasts.


These blasts are following the recent twin suicide bombings at a military convey which killed at least 48 people which includes 18 soldiers in another busy market in Lahore city. These attacks injure almost 95 people and took place at RA Bazaar in the afternoon within 15 seconds gaps. Two suicide bombers blew themselves up targeting the Garrison security force. The garrison security force was performing a routine patrol in the area. The twin bombs were a second attack on security personnel in Lahore this week, where a car bomb hit a building, housing a police interrogation centre Monday, killing 15 people and which injured almost around 70 people. Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has already claimed the responsibility for the RA Bazaar twin bombings which occurred.
