Life As A Felon

It’s crazy how you can make one wrong mistake and be scarred for the rest of life for it. 5 seconds of the wrong mistake can cause you a lifetime of stress and pain. You go in there able to get up in the morning and look for a job on your on free will. Once you get that felony is over for all of that.

While you’re in there your mind is so open and willing to get out and do things the right way. Like you tell yourselves that you will get up every morning and go look for you a job. You think of all types of positive things to do when you come home but once you finally get out and actually try some of those things reality quickly kicks in and now it’s just you and your decisions to make.

Let’s say for an example taht I was a kid that grew up and never had anyone to show me how to even dress or fill out an application before. Now, your out of jail with no clue the correct way to dress or correct way to make a resume’ or fill an application out. Now, what are you going to do now that you your out and free. Despite of all the things you told yourselves before you were free, what are you going to do now? God forbid that you stay with your girl or that you your close to from the opposite sex. The reason I say so is because they are always happy your home but after a while it’s what are you going to do about your money situation. It always happens unless you just hit the jackpot on one-it females that’s willing to give you anything.

You steady filling out applications all day long, everyday but you seem to get any luck. They tell you that they are not hiring or they will get with as soon as you get opening. Then you constantly deal with your loves ones always telling you that you need a job and that your felony isn’t excuse. It really isn’t an excuse for anyone but sometimes that just the truth. For instance I’m a 2time felon and I have literally took 6 months one time and went out search for a job everyday. I never got a job until I got locked up again that’s the only place where it hasn’t been hard for me to get a job at. It really makes it hard for us when this recession is going on especially. The truth is nobody wants to hire a felon when the economy is the way it is. I’m not saying that it is impossible to find a job but it is very hard and it a lot harder for a young black man with a felony or more.

When the walls move in closer in on you and pockets started touching then what?

You have no other choice but to find a way to make you some money. Rather that’s right way or the wrong way you have to get your money or you going to be out here on these streets. Most felons have kids and women in their life that have to care of so who is going to take of your financial situation when you trying to do the right thing and look for a job. Looking for a job is not going to put money in your pocket or help you out when your child is hungry or need pampers.

I’m agreeing that sailing drugs is right or stripping or whatever and however you get your money but believe me I’ve been in those shoes before and I know how tight the walls can close in on you. My advice to those who really tries to make a difference in their life by not making an excuse because you have a felony or more but the ones that actually try like myself.

KEEP YOU’RE HEAD UP GOD HAVE PLANS FOR EACH ONE OF US!

Strive everyday to be perfect but do what you got to do to survive consequences are real but you are the one that has to deal with those problems and I can’t blame you for not wanting to go broke. At least we can make money online a sites like this but the struggle is hard.
