NCAA March Madness and Sandra Bullock
The NCAA 2010 division I men’s basketball tournament or popularly known as the March madness got something to learn from Sandra Bullock and her movie The Blind Side. The lesson that the NCAA March madness got to learn form the movie and Sandra Bullock is that even a least educated athlete recruited by a college can become a great student and also a great team player. It’s just like the real life character of Michael Oher who was also once home less in the movie The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock. The National Collegiate Athletic Association still has to fight a lot and show a lot more skill and ability to be known as a good athletic team and scholar athlete.
The
The new system of the NCAA states that the athlete student will not be allowed to compete in the next session if a certain amount of marks and grades are not reached by the student athlete for his own studying benefits. This bench mark has to be reached by every athlete student to be able to keep on studying and playing at the same time.
The graduation gap between the whites and blacks are another area of concern for the NCAA and should be taken instant care to equalize the gap and maintain a stable position and rate of graduation. Only time will tell that the teachings of the movie and Sandra Bullock has taken effect or not.
