Entertainment is what helps many escape their daily life while bring joy and excitement to their lives. People may view sport as something competitive between two or more individuals but one so called sport has me wondering if it’s even a sport. This is NASCAR. Now I personal do have anything against NASCAR and I watch it occasionally but I’ve never really saw the sport in it. Yes it is a competition game that goes on for hours but I’ve always viewed a sport as something more physically demanding not to say that NASCAR isn’t at all. But come let’s be honest with ourselves. Anybody can drive a car at 200 miles per hour. Danica Patrick just made the switch from cart racing to NASCAR and she’s already reached a top ten position during a race. The racer with the best built car along with teammates could easily win every race. This tells me that this so called sport is base on the competition of well built cars and not actual people. This is why I believe NASCAR is not a real sport.
