Together We Stand

in America, poem category
Walking through the summer heat I’m surrounded by the shade of the sun Grasping my hands are my daughter and son Their too young to understand the weight of a man Has to work two jobs because of the weight of his sins Or how a woman struggling to choice how to begin The journey in taking care of the gift from a stranger Will can pull you through any path if you manage To keep a positive perspective that life’s full of tough changes Think of a homeless man begging for pennies Because he lost in life now he’s distance from family What about the lost minded teenager Feeling like nobody understands her The world is balanced while spinning You don’t have to find wrong it will find you You don’t have to do right if won’t make you Life is short but it we stand together Our life missions for success bands together
