Was it the way

You looked at me Or was it the words

That you would say

As you held me close to you

It became the best part of my day

With you by my side

We were freezing in the cold Waiting for that sign

Was it the way

You looked at me

Or was it the words

That you would say

As you held me close to you

It became the best part of my day

With you by my side

We were freezing in the cold

Waiting for that sign

Which was not so clearly told

Strong Willing and Hoping for the Best

 I put my judgments aside

And laid my head upon your chest

Aware of the difficulty and my chances to fail

Confident in my mind I slowly whispered, “I will prevail” Sleeping in your arms

 As you held me tight

With the smile upon my face I knew it was right

But soon everything was not as it seemed

and Tortured To learn it was nothing but a Dream

I wish I could write poetry like this. Love it. Too bad it was just a dream.
