To laugh is to risk appearing a fool
To weep is to appear sentimental
To reach out is to risk involvement
To expose feeling is to risk exposing your true self
To place your idea and dream before crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to not being loved
To live is to risk dying
To hope is to despair
To try is to risk failure
But risk must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing
The person who risk nothing, has nothing and is nothing
People avoid suffering and sorrow but they simply cannot learn, feel, change, love and live
Chained by the certitudes, they are slaves
And have forfeited their freedom
Only those who risk are truly free
